Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her in the role of Jasira Maoun, an Lebanese American teenage girl who has to face a range of personal problems in connection with the U.S. invaders of Iraq. The subsequent recognition as one of the Top 10 actors of Variety in 2007 was also a great honour. The year 2009 was the time she played the powerful Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film.
